power point vocab

Presentation-is a formal or informal report, usually given orally, sometimes called a "speech" or a "talk".

Thumbnails-The slides tab contains small-sized views.

Splitter bars- horizont or vertical bars that seperate the left and right, slides, and note panesin normal view.

Title slide-the first slide of the presentation.

Title-the main topic of the presentation

Placeholder-is a present holdin location reserving space for a slide element.

Title Area-iz a placeholder for the slide's title.

Text Area-is a placeholder for a subtitle or a numbered or bulleted list.

Object Area-reserved for objects.

Rich Format Text-a file format with the extention rft. that enables text to be transferred and read by different applications.

Autocontent Wizard-a tool to help you create a presentation easily with programmed layouts.

Boilerplate Text- standard text that is appropriate for that type of presentation

Indent Level-is a number that indicates the indent and importance if the subtitle in a relation to the title.

Promote-Decreasing the indent an Increasing the type size.

Demote-Increases the indent and decresing the type seize.

Object-They are nontext elements sush as charts, tables, clipart, pictures, photos, movie clips or other types of information.

Subtitle-any text that follows the title gives more detail about the title
